Dr. Nicolaus Loos
Dr. Nicolaus Loos
Dr. Loos is Partner, Founder, CEO and CIO of DCCP and Speaker of the Board of DCCP AG. Prior to founding DCCP, Dr. Loos was Head of Banking & Markets at IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, responsible for all banking and capital markets activities. During his time as Head of European Leveraged & Corporate Structured Finance, he built up the bank’s midcap corporate & acquisition finance lending businesses across Europe. Before joining IKB, Dr. Loos was with Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan in the Leveraged Finance and Sponsor Coverage Groups in London, New York and Frankfurt.
Dr. Loos holds a master’s degree from HHL Leipzig, an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management in Sydney and received a doctoral degree in finance & economics from the University of St. Gallen on the topic of Value Creation in Leveraged Buyouts.

Dr. Haiko Büttner
Dr. Haiko Büttner
Dr. Büttner is Partner in charge of group finance, tax and regulatory operations and is furthermore Executive Board Member of DCCP AG and DCCP’s Luxembourg entity DCCP S.A. Prior to joining DCCP, he was CFO and CCO at Rantum Capital a Frankfurt-based private debt and private equity manager focused on the DACH region. Dr. Büttner started his professional career with the Financial Service Department of Ernst & Young in Frankfurt, spending more than 7 years focusing on insurance, asset management, banking and investment fund clients. In 2013, he became a certified German tax advisor focusing on the Alternative Investment Fund Industry.
Dr. Büttner holds a master’s degree from Philipps-University Marburg and a master’s degree from the University of Kent. He holds a Phd in business administration focusing on the Alternative Investment Fund Manager Directive from the University of Gloucestershire.

Degenhard Schroeren
Degenhard Schroeren
Degenhard Schroeren is Partner in charge of risk management, compliance and regulatory issues and is an Executive Board Member of DCCP AG. Prior to joining DCCP, Mr. Schroeren worked as Head of Leveraged and Non-Investment Grade Finance Germany/Austria/CEE at Société Générale in Frankfurt, where he was responsible for Origination and Execution as well as Portfolio Management. During this period, he was covering financial sponsor driven leveraged buyouts, TMT and Infrastructure acquisition financings, as well as Corporate Leveraged Financings. Prior to this, he was working for The Royal Bank of Scotland in Leveraged Finance origination and execution in Frankfurt for more than 5 years. Degenhard Schroeren started his career at Deutsche Bank, where he worked as part of Morgan Grenfell in Project Finance in Frankfurt on advisory and arranger mandates for 5 years.
Mr. Schroeren holds a degree from the EBS European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.

Dr. Jörg Alting
Dr. Jörg Alting
Dr. Jörg Alting is Partner in DCCP’s Investment Team. Prior to joining DCCP, Dr. Alting has spent 17 years at Mizuho Bank, Ltd. in London and Hong Kong, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Acquisition and Infrastructure Finance in London. After initially leading the sponsor coverage and LBO business for Mizuho in the DACH region from 2001 to 2008, he spent 2 years in Hong Kong as head of the leverage finance business of Mizuho in Asia (ex Japan). Before Mizuho, Dr. Alting was a Director at Dresdner Bank / DrKW’s debt origination and acquisition finance business in Frankfurt and London for 5 years. He started his career at Price Waterhouse in Frankfurt and London.
Dr. Alting holds a Phd and a masters degree in business and finance from JW Goethe University in Frankfurt.

Norman R. Rafael
Norman R. Rafael
In his role as Partner and COO, Norman Rafael is leading operations strategy, human resources, corporate development, group communications and ESG at DCCP. He is a former CxO and board director with a track record of transformation and value creation in private equity portfolio companies. He was previously Managing Director and Group Head in investment banking and capital markets, advising a range of clients on complex M& A, financing and capital markets transactions with an aggregate value of more than €75bn.

Dr. Glebs Ivanovs

Dr. Ivanovs is Senior Investment Manager in DCCP’s Investment Team. Prior to joining DCCP, he worked at RBC Capital Markets in London and Frankfurt and focused on origination and execution of Large Corporate and Leveraged Finance transactions in the DACH region. Previously he worked at IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG in the Corporate Structured Finance and Leveraged Finance teams in Frankfurt.
Dr. Ivanovs graduated from the University of Würzburg and holds a Dr. rer. pol. degree from the J. W. Goethe University in Frankfurt.

Erwin Schreiber

Mr. Schreiber is Senior Investment Manager in DCCP’s Investment Team. Prior to joining DCCP, Mr. Schreiber worked in the Sponsor Coverage and Leveraged Finance group of IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG in Frankfurt, where he focused on origination and execution of DACH and Benelux LBO deals. Prior to this, Mr. Schreiber worked at UniCredit’s Corporate Structured Finance / Capital Structure Advisory department. He has more than 9 years experience in banking.
Mr. Schreiber holds a Bachelor in Banking & Finance from Cooperative State University Mannheim, a Master in Accounting & Finance from FOM University Munich, is a Master of Laws (LL.M.) candidate and corporate finance lecturer at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Frankfurt.

Colin Saß
Colin Saß
Mr. Saß is Investment Analyst in the DDCP investment team. Prior to joining DDCP, Mr. Saß worked as an Analyst at FCF Fox Corporate Finance GmbH in Munich, where he was involved in debt and equity transactions, primarily in the German Mittelstand. Mr. Saß gained initial experience in internships in corporate finance at FCF Fox Corporate Finance Gmbh, in deal advisory at KPMG AG in Munich and in Audit at Ernst & Young (EY) in Vienna.
Mr. Saß holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with majors in Finance and Change Management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Eric Chinchon

Mr. Chinchon is a board member of DCCP S.A. In addition, he is a Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of MEBS Luxembourg, a specialist local advisory firm which provides independent corporate governance and compliance advice, regulatory, administrative and domiciliation services. After starting his career at PFPC as fund accountant, he was auditor at Ernst & Young and KPMG in Luxemburg from 2003 to 2005 before joining Mercuria Services, a Luxemburg based corporate service provider, as General Manager.
Mr. Chinchon is member of several boards and industry associations. He is certified by ILA and INSEAD in corporate governance and as an independent director.

Pia Smith
Pia Smith
Pia Smith is Office Manager and supports the DCCP team since September 2020 in a variety of office management and administrative tasks. Mrs. Smith is responsible for business operations including coordination of appointments, accounting, human resources, and marketing. Prior to DCCP, Mrs. Smith worked in the United States as a leasing consultant in the real estate sector.
Mrs. Smith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in management from the Austin Peay State University in Tennessee, U.S.

Mr. von Joest is Chairman of the Supervisory Board at DCCP AG, and furthermore holds several executive and non-executive directorships with Join Capital GmbH, Sellutions AG, tubogel uk ltd., Committee Classic Trader GmbH, Domaines de La Baronne et Belcourt, among others. Mr. von Joest was previously a Senior Founding Partner at Odewald & Cie. for 14 years, which raised and invested four funds with a total committed capital of >€1.5bn.

Dr. Hecker is currently the global head in equity markets and strategic equity transactions at UniCredit Group in Munich and Milan. In previous positions, Dr. Hecker held the roles of Managing Director in EMC and strategic equity transactions at Deutsche Bank in London, Executive Director in the Finance Group at Goldman Sachs, as well as Vice President in ECM and Structured Solutions Group at J.P. Morgan.

Hendrik Gienow has been a Managing Director at EUROHYPO from 1998 til 2015. His responsibilities included Head of Continental Europe, Head of Asia-Pacific, Head of Strategy and most recently Head of Global Restructuring. From 2004 on he has been Chairman of Eurohypo Japan for ten years. Hendrik Gienow joined Deutsche Bank in 1989 and worked in Frankfurt, London und Luxemburg.

Carsten Maybach is Co-Founder and Partner of FINYOND Capital, a small cap fund focused on tech investments in the financial services sector. He started his career in Clifford Chance’s private equity team before working on the buy-side at a small-cap PE investor. After CFO positions for growing companies, Carsten Maybach specialized in FinTech investments, first for Commerzbank’s main incubator, then for ALSTIN Capital.

Marc Dellmann is member of the Group Executive Board of Munich Private Equity Group. Previously he was responsible for running UBS Asset Management’s Private Equity and Infrastructure business and had further senior leadership and investment roles with CEPRES, UBS, Allianz Risk Transfer and Apax Partners. Marc has led innovative solutions such as the first Private Equity CDO in the market. With more than 27 years in the financial industry, Marc brings significant expertise across related asset classes, including Private Equity, Private Debt, Structured Finance and Infrastructure.

Prior to that he held several positions as country CEO at Allianz Group in Singapore, Japan, Turkey and Malaysia.

Philip Jacobs
Philip Jacobs
Philip Jacobs is an Operating Advisor for DCCP and has previously worked for Morgan Stanley in London as Global Capital Markets Structurer for Distressed Assets, Non-Performing Loans and Leveraged Finance. He has extensive experience in complex financial and business modelling and risk management solutions. He is also active in the Fintech area as Director at IANUA Market Limited in London.
Mr. Jacobs studied mathematics at EPFL in Lausanne and at Technical University of Munich gaining a math degree (Dipl. Math.) from Technical University of Munich in mathematical statistics, probability and finance.
